Comments(0) Zhu Zhu Pets are the newest toy sensation sweeping the nation. They are small hamster-like creatures, battery opperated, that run around on modular tracks that are specially sold to work with them. In the words of zhu zhu pets themselves, they are just like a real pet, without the mess!
Zhu Zhu Pets use two modes of play: “fostering” - where the hamsters vibrate and nest - and “voyage” - where the hamsters journey and discover their habitat, utilizing smart automatic audio responses to various environments.
More than a dozen extensions are available for purchase, to maintain your child’s interest in the toy as it evolves. Zhu Zhu Pets use 2 AAA batteries and are approved for ages 3 and up.
They are available from any toy retailer, such as Toys R Us or Wal-Mart. If your child has been talking about wanting a pet, but you don’t want to take on the added responsibility, don’t have enough room in your house or apartment, or aren’t crazy about the idea of constantly cleaning up after a real, live animal - the zhu zhu pets might just be for you.
